Sagita Mirjam Sunara (University of Split) presented a poster at the international symposium Acting in Contemporary Art Conservation, which was held in Amersfoort and Amsterdam, The Netherlands, on 15th and 16th November 2018.  Organized by the Dutch Foundation for the Conservation of Contemporary Art (SBMK), the two-day symposium included 20 oral presentations and 21 poster presentations. Sagita Mirjam Sunara (University of Split) presented a poster at the 27th Biennial Congress of the International Institute for Conservation, which was held in Turin, Italy, from 10th to 14th September 2018. The Congress brought together heritage professionals from over 50 countries to discuss and explore the topic of preventive conservation. A group of conservation-restoration students of the Arts Academy in Split participated in a theoretical and practical workshop focused on the preservation, interpretation and stewardship of outdoor sculpture, which took place in Sisak, Croatia, from September 24th to September 30th, 2018. The second meeting of the Conservation of Art in Public Spaces (CAPuS) project was held on July 12, 2018 at the University of Split, Croatia. Each team presented the artworks listed in their Initial Selection of Artworks Form (including archival photos, details showing structural and surface issues, artist interviews and analytical results if already available). The Conservation of Art in Public Spaces (CAPuS) project was briefly presented at the 15th International Conference of Conservation-Restoration Studies, which took place in Split, Croatia, from April 26 to April 28, 2018. The conference, organized by the Conservation-Restoration Department of the Arts Academy in Split, brought together around 100 participants from five countries: Croatia, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Poland, and Serbia.
